I've written previously about how much I love my pegboard, and the marvel of modern home organization continues to delight me as I tweak its configuration. Lately I've been doing a lot of fusible web appliqué as described in the excellent Stitched Raw Edge Appliqué

More pegboard love

I think this counts as a miracle towards you being made the Patron Saint of Craft Room Organization.
I'm not going to use this tip, since I don't do much fusing, but the whole way of thinking inspires me to try to rationalize my system for storing my crap -- er, my crafting tools.
I am in awe of your organization. I have pegboard up, but it really isn't "working"....I need a big day to CLEAN in my studio. It isn't happening soon, but there is hope....maybe...but I am inspired by your use of pegboard to redux all my crap, I mean art supplies too!
It's funny how much of a gap there is between organized and tidy--if I'd pulled the camera back, you would have seen that my sewing space is a complete disaster zone, despite the organizational tricks. Every time I clean up, more fabric and work barges in and ruins things!
I just found your blog, and wanted to say that I love my quilty pegboard too! It makes cleaning up at the end of the day so much easier (keeps the cats from playing with my rulers in the middle of the night). This is a link to a picture of mine: http://jeanqueen666.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-do-you-make-pegboard-girly.html
I'm really enjoying your posts - you've gained a loyal reader!
